Someday, words will flow again. Perhaps while I'm home for the holidays. In the meantime, I leave you with a few pictures that I snapped upon divesting myself of my snow gear this afternoon. Roughly two and a quarter years post-surgery, two and a half on T.
I have been told my chest hair resembles an eagle.

I believe my exact words were MAJESTIC eagle. Keep on rocking in the free world, dude.
I just wanted to respond to an earlier post where you'd said being told you "look like a boy" is offensive.
Not all of us mean this in a derogatory way. I've probably said it to someone once or twice (actually, what I said was "Holy crap, you're so passable I never would've guessed you were trans if you hadn't told me"), but what I meant was: "I completely understand and respect that you ARE--in everything but genitalia--a guy. But I know that once upon a time people would look at you and see a woman. Just so you know, you've been awesomely successful at matching your outsides to your insides, and I'm happy for you that nobody will be mistaking you for a chick anymore."
I mean, I'll stop telling trans people that their transformation worked out really well if that's a hurtful thing to say. As a ciswoman I clearly don't understand all the subtleties of what you're going through so I might accidentally say stupid things. But they're well-meaning things, is my point.
Thanks for this blog, it's awesome.

P.S. is it okay to just tell you I think you're cute, period? :)
Hey, Happy Belated New Year!
Just trying to catch up a bit.
